教育目標
This course aims to accomplish the following goals:
1. To help students (Ss) to become better English learners through in-class activities.
2. To equip Ss with the strategic knowledge that they could use for English learning.
3. To encourage Ss to use English language in class through Qs AND As.
4. To promote the concept of thinking about thinking (meta-cognition) while doing in-class activities.
5. To encourage cooperative learning among students through the assistance from the capable peers.
6. To emphasize the importance of both form and meaning in the context of English language learning.
7. To introduce word formation, idioms, language chunks and fixed expressions in English learning situations.
