教育目標

Students will gain insights into how the interaction between literature, computer science and mathematics has given birth to the fields of constrained and computational literature and computational studies in literature. Students will achieve a basic historical understanding of the development and progress of the main AI applications of computational linguistics from the beginning of computer science to our Big Data era. Students will develop an understanding of how computational linguists approach the scientific and engineering study of language. Students will practice computational thinking while exploring some algorithms used in computational linguistics and working on some small AI/CL group projects.
