教育目標

To update class participants to scientific understanding, changes in practice and policy, and important events of recent years (such as the COVID 19 epidemic) regarding teh topic of environmental hygiene, environmental health, epidemiology and public health. The course should orient future sustainability practicitioners in aspects related to environmental health that will cross into their professional lives. It should further introduce students to the publich health aspects of environmental issues. The course should also help as a preparatory course for students intersted in pursuing future work in environmental health by giving information regarding the environmental aspects of public health, environmental toxicology, environmental epidemiology and population studies.
