教育目標
This course introduces students to a range of different perspectives in ethical theory. It will help them to think more carefully and critically about ethics and morality as it applies to their own lives, and will help them to understand and appreciate the diversity of views across a range of global philosophical traditions.
課程概述
In this course, we will consider and critically assess the different theories and concepts that have been proposed as guides for our action from a wide range of intellectual traditions. We examine classical and contemporary theories of morality from a global perspective, including ethical theories from East Asian, Western, Indian, African and indigenous perspectives.
