教育目標

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: 1. Explain, with examples, the interdependence of society, environment, and economy 2. Discuss topics touching on sustainability and their relation with corporate responsibility 3. Construct a logical argument regarding a topic in sustainability and its relation to corporate responsibility, e.g. electric cars - climate change, and carmakers' social role in this transition. 4. Analyze, summarize, and critique different opinions regarding the meanings of sustainability and responsibility of corporations 5. Identify institutions and organization and the actions they are taking towards more sustainable development 6. Describe the roles and failures of corporations in contributing to sustainable development 7. Understand the differing principles and challenges of sustainable development in rural and urban areas, as well as their interconnections
