The objective of the course is to introduce students to the basics of research and various directions to choose from, so that they can start thinking about their projects. They will be introduced to the research problem identification and formulation, the process of searching, reading, and interpreting relevant scientific literature. They will be taught basics of research document’s structure, including research objectives and research outcomes and how to develop and write research proposals. Students will gain the understanding of: 1. Scientific Research and Scientific Work 2. Selection of Research Topics and Writing of preliminary research proposals 3. How to conduct Literature Search 4. How to Structure project proposal 5. Meaning of Research Methodology and How to Select Methods according to the Research Topic 6. Designing Literature Review Studies 7. Practice of Proposal Seminar Presentations
