教育目標
On completion of the course, students should be able to
1. Identify the main idea of the speech and listen for details.
2. Take notes while listening to the speech and summarize what they hear.
3. Use English to learn about the environment, culture, social interaction, and the latest global issues.
4. Use English to discuss and present their perspective.
課程概述
TED Talks offers a variety of intuitive and inspiring speeches by speakers from all around the world. Popular topics include science, technology, business, global issues, arts, design, entertainment and more! This course is designed to enhance students’ listening comprehension skill, as well as to introduce valuable new knowledge and explore different cultures. English speeches concerning the environment, aspects of culture related to daily life, social interaction, and the latest global issues will be especially targeted in the course. Students will watch the video, and learn to identify important information delivered through the speech. Students will also be encouraged to present their perspectives and exchange ideas in class.
