Upon completion of this course, students are expected to do the following:
1. Demonstrating knowledge and understanding of required texts in their social, cultural and historical contexts.
2. Applying concepts from literary convention to interpret required texts in a critical and analytical manner.
3. Using appropriate textual evidence to support their interpretations of the texts under discussion.
4. Explaining their interpretations in class discussion, group presentations, and written examinations.
