In the seminar of African-American Experience in August Wilson’s Selected Plays, students will (1) focus the literary analysis on the African-American experience through the lens of history and culture to engage themselves more profoundly in group discussions, (2) sharpen academic writing skills, (3) conduct stage acting in groups, and (4) develop group play scripts.
