1.To learn how to think critically about tea as a reflection of social, political, and economic realities 2.To develop a sense of the Taiwanese tea of colonial cultures and how these relate to broader cultural phenomena 3.To understand the “Arts of Tea” and how changes in the tea industry have affected the kinds of tea we consume 4.To be able to steep delicious tea and set up a tea ceremony
