教育目標

This course is based on the fundamental premise that the major role of digital technology is to provide organization with strategic advantage by facilitating problem solving, increasing productivity and quality, increasing speed, improving customer service, and enabling communication and collaboration. As so, managing digital resources, new technology, and communication networks is becoming the-critical success factor in the operations of many organizations, private and public, and will be essential to the survival of organization in the future. This course is divided into two modules. The goal of the first module is to understand the various ways that an organization in digital technology may implement its strategic goals. The second module explores the issue of service innovation under the application of digital technology, examining various methods used to design and manage service elements to enter a new co-creation logic and value proposition. The rapidly increased use of the Web, the Internet, intranet, extranet, e-business and e-commerce, and mobile computing changes the manner in which business is done in almost all organizations. We emphasize the innovative uses of digital technology throughout the enterprise. The applications and case studies of smart technology including AI and IOT are also discussed. The teaching method will use case discussion, short article analysis, lectures and external expert lectures, etc. The materials include case studies, short cases and handouts.
