學生從認識環境生態基本理論、生態系統服務功能、氣候變遷議題，學習生態復育理論，與其在不同空間尺度規模的應用，包括國土與城鄉的生態規劃，都市環境生態復育、棲地營造，水域生態環境育；和運用指標物種、生態工程系統原則與方法，指導生態棲地的復育與營造。最後再回饋到生態系統服務功能檢視營造成果之效益。
