Students will examine various cultural groups' perspectives, research findings, and case studies from diverse regions worldwide. The course may include activities such as cultural immersion experiences and opportunities for self-reflection on one's own cultural identity, biases and assumptions. The content provides a comprehensive understanding of the cultural basis of psychological processes while fostering cultural competence, international-mindedness, and an appreciation for diversity in various domains of life.

Cultural Constructions of Self: Independent vs. Interdependent
II. Cultural Variations: Cognition and Emotion
