學生對5G網路系統結構有初步認識，也可以學習到5G核心網路架構、成員元件、資料平面之元件（基地台與switch等）與系統安全機制，希望受課學生，未來能對台灣之5G網路垂直應用與安全貢獻心力。
採用：教育部5G行動寬頻人才培育計畫（目前是：教育部補助行動通訊專業核心課程改進及推廣計畫）所制定課程教材，與自編教材(都是多年之研究與發展心得、所發表論文與highly ranked期刊上刊載之最新文章內容)．
無另外參考書籍。但期末專題報告前，須在網路上蒐集5G網路垂直應用論文，並在課堂上報告文章。
