本課程介紹與化工製程相關之主要設備設計之課題,以期同學瞭解各類製程設備之特色、選擇準則、與設計原理,課程目標乃在提升大四同學運用化工專業核心知識的能力,來培養解決實際工程問題的能力,從而提升同學畢業後進入職場的就業能力。 Course Contents: Fundamental Concepts of Chemical Process Design; Process Equipment for Fluid Transport- Pump/Compressor Selection and Sizing; Design of Heat Exchange Equipment; Heating & Cooling Media Selection; Design of Heat Exchange Equipment- Selection Criteria and Equipment Design; Degrees-of-Freedom Analysis; Selection of Design Variables; Design of Mass Transfer Equipment- Selection Criteria; Design of Mass Transfer Equipment - Short-Cut Design; Mass Transfer Equipment- Equipment Design; Economic Evaluation on Chemical Projects; Gathering of Design-Related Data; Process Design & Simulation; Design of Chemical Reactors; Concept of Process Optimization.
