Cultivate students to integrate genetics, genomics, and molecular biology methodologies while also teaching the mechanisms of human disease pathogenesis. The program aims to encourage students to uncover novel insights to improve disease management and understanding of disease mechanisms.

Research and review papers are the major reading materials for this course. Some chapters in related textbooks would be assigned as reading materials too, which would be announced by lecturers prior to class.
