本課程以總體社會之經貿活動為研究對象，由個體最適行為推導出勞動供需、商品供需、貨幣供需、外匯供需及消費、投資等行為函數後，用全面均衡分析法研習各種總體教派（古典、凱因斯、貨幣、新興古典、新興凱因斯及實質景氣循環教派）對總體經濟議題的論述。內容包含就業、所得、物價、利率、匯率、景氣波動、國際收支、經濟成長及政府財金政策的操作與影響。

課程目前：介紹總體經濟學的分析方法與政策應用，進而了解整體國家之總體經濟表現。 Course Objectives ：This course introduces the analytical methods and policy applications of macroeconomics to understand the performance of an entire country. 內涵：所欲探討的主題包括物價、利率、國民所得、失業率、通貨膨脹、經濟成長、景氣循環、評估財政政策與貨幣政策的效果等等。 ContentsTopics to be explored include prices, interest rate, national income, unemployment rates, inflation, economic growth, economic cycles, and evaluating the effects of fiscal and monetary policies.
