Is that possible states work out cooperative solutions to challenges of human injustice and environmental damage?What is the record of the United Nations in confl ict control? What has been the impact of World Bank programs onthe alleviation of poverty? Why are the IMF and the WTO viewed as necessities by some and as obstacles byothers? This course aims to explore these the questions to understand the potentials and limitations of internationalorganizations in the world system.
