教育目標

From Napoleon´s Republic to Empire of Trump” is an elective course for undergraduates. The theme of the course is “State” and how the state evolved in the East and West. This course should be a modern interdisciplinary course on political theories that includes the fundamental concepts and theories on the political nature, legitimacy, creation and organization of states. The course furthermore includes case studies like the French Republic or Trump´s administration. The abstract theories along with case-based approach should enable the students to critically assess different forms of state. Through critical analysis of states, students will ultimately develop the necessary skills to engage in academic and practical discussions and disputes related to contemporary political systems.
