As this the last of the Comp/Oral series, the main aim of this semester is to give a final shape and polish the skills of the students in both writing and in speech.

We will 1. get familiar with the writing process (prewriting planning, drafting, and revising). 2. learn the components of a sound essay. 3. learn to organize ideas logically. 4. learn to write definition, summary/response, argumentative, and research essays.
