教育目標

a. Give students a more advanced understanding of gender theories and feminist linguistics. b. Develop students’ awareness of the inter-relation between culture and language. c. Develop students’ problem-finding and problem-solving skills and independent research skills. d. Offer some opportunities to compare and contrast English and Chinese in the area of gender and language. e. Offer some opportunities to explore the language of non-mainstream sexual groups (such as cross-dressers, homosexuals, people who have sex change operation).
