教育目標

This undergraduate course focuses on the fundamental principles of heat transfer as applied to unit operations in chemical engineering. Students will explore mechanisms of conduction, convection, and radiation, along with their integration into process equipment design such as heat exchangers, evaporators, and condensers. Emphasis is placed on analytical and numerical methods for solving heat transfer problems, energy efficiency, and real-world applications in industries like petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food processing. The course combines theoretical foundations with practical design considerations to prepare students for optimizing thermal processes in engineering systems.
