This course is an extension of Digital Systems. Both the traditional and the modern methods of applying digital design and development techniques will be introduced.

1. Basic treatments of digital circuits and the fundamental concepts of digital systems. 2. To understand basics of digital systems, including (a) Boolean logic, (b) minimizations of Boolean function, (c) design of combinational and sequentialcircuits,registers, counters. 3. To understand Verilog HDL. 4. To be able to analyze and design simple digital systems.
