A primary goal of this course is to develop a broad understanding of calculus methods using the Rule of Four: algebraic, graphical, verbal, and numerical approaches. Algebraic methods focus on symbolic solutions, graphical methods emphasize visualization and interpretation, verbal methods connect mathematics to real-world contexts, and numerical methods use technology to obtain approximate solutions. Students are expected to become proficient in all four approaches. Algebraic, graphical, and verbal methods will be used regularly, while numerical methods will be incorporated as appropriate. The course content follows a traditional calculus curriculum and is organized into ten core units, each of which is assessed to ensure mastery of the material.
