This course provides a comprehensive exploration of global ecological and environmental change using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs) as an analytical and policy framework. The UN-SDGs represent a global commitment to addressing critical challenges such as climate change, environmental degradation, poverty, hunger, health disparities, and social inequality, while promoting inclusive and sustainable development. Through lectures, case studies, group discussions, and presentations, students will examine the environmental, economic, and social dimensions of each SDG. The course emphasizes critical analysis of real-world data, policy effectiveness, and regional differences in SDG implementation. By the end of the course, students will have developed a strong understanding of global sustainability challenges, enhanced their analytical and communication skills, and gained practical insights relevant to careers in international development, environmental policy, business sustainability, and global governance
