Preclinical studies for the pharmaceutical industry demand the use of cell cultures and model organisms. This course is designed to introduce how various cell and animal models are applied to either in vitro or in vivo testings of pharmaceutical therapies. We will particularly focus on four models and their power for various aspects of translational medicine studies.
