It aims to help students develop high-level English skills through locating main ideas, recognizing organizational patterns, summarizing, inferences making, and synthesizing reading materials.

This is an advanced course for English major students based on the idea that students learn to use effective reading strategies to become good English readers. Students will read selected articles and two novels. Exercises and quizzes will be given. Project-based individual and group work allows students to showcase their learning outcomes
