Course Objective: This engineering mathematics course is designed for 2nd to 4th-year college students having previous knowledge in calculus (passing grade only). Students enrolled in this course should expect to learn the definition and solution techniques to ordinary differential equations (ODE), Laplace transform, and numerical methods.

This introductory course to Engineering Mathematics is designed for 3rd- and 4th-year college students or those having previous knowledge (with passing grades) in Calculus and Physics. This course focuses on introducing the principles of mathematics required to solve engineering mechanics problems. Students taking the course should also expect to learn the methods for solving differential equations, including the use of Laplace transforms and power series solutions. In addition to differential equations, students are introduced to matrices.
