As globalization continues to grow, supply chain complexity has significantly increased. Therefore, the goal of this class is to introduce key concepts of supply chain management and to explore state-of-the-art decision methods. Most topics are accompanied with computer simulation games. Students are required to take actions, make decisions and will experience the impact of their decisions real time. We will discuss the following aspects of supply chain: procurement, operations, distribution, and sustainability so that students will have a thorough understanding from upstream to downstream supply chain.
