This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of business ethics and its role in responsible management and organizational decision-making. Students will study major ethical concepts, stakeholder relationships, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, corporate governance, emerging ethical issues, ethical decision making, moral philosophies, organizational culture, and ethics programs. The course emphasizes practical ethical judgment rather than memorization alone. Through case discussions, debate activities, role play simulations, AI scaffolded dilemma analysis, advertising ethics critique, workplace complaint simulations, and group presentations, students will learn how to identify ethical problems, evaluate competing stakeholder interests, apply ethical theories, and propose responsible business solutions. Students will also learn to use AI tools critically and responsibly by comparing AI generated ethical arguments, identifying bias or missing perspectives, connecting outputs to ethical frameworks, and revising their own ethical judgments.
