Senior Project I provides students with a structured framework for developing and planning an independent sustainability-related project. Working closely with a faculty advisor, students refine project objectives, evaluate relevant literature and existing knowledge, assess project feasibility, and develop an appropriate methodology and implementation plan. Course activities include proposal development, project scheduling, resource identification, preliminary investigations, and progress presentations. By the end of the course, students will produce a complete project proposal and establish a clear foundation for successful implementation and completion in Senior Project II. Note: Due to the individualized nature of Senior Project I, project timelines, meeting schedules, intermediate milestones, and specific project activities may vary among students and advisors. The course schedule serves as a general framework, and adjustments may be made by the advisor to accommodate the requirements of individual projects. Specific deliverables used to demonstrate progress may differ depending on project scope and methodology and advsiors will assess accoridngly.
