In recent years, with the rapid development of different fields such as big data, machine learning, and cloud computing, we are facing challenges of handling the explosive growth of data volume and increasing complexity.This course will introduce the theory and practice of database management systems (DBMS) to understand the core concepts and methods for establishing databases.Throughout the course, we will cover fundamental concepts of databases and their implementation. Additionally,the course will also introduce NoSQL databases to understand the development of DBMS technology and its applications in today s data-driven world.

The objective of this course is to develop students' ability to organize and manage information effectively using database systems. Students will learn how to analyze data requirements, design appropriate database structures, and retrieve information to support business activities. Through practical applications and problem-solving exercises, students will strengthen their logical thinking, data management, and analytical skills while gaining an understanding of the role of databases in business environments.
