This course introduces students to the theories and practices of financial reporting, financial management, and investment analysis. It focuses on using financial information and analytical techniques to support decision-making by corporations and investors. The primary objective is to develop students’ ability to analyze and interpret financial statements, evaluate corporate financial performance, and make value-enhancing financial decisions. Students will also learn to integrate risk-and-return analysis into investment evaluation and portfolio decision-making. The course provides a solid foundation for students pursuing careers in finance, investment, financial analysis, or senior management positions with a finance specialization.
