教育目標

Molecular biology is the common language between chemists and biologists, which is also essential for research and development in the fields of modern biotechnology, medical diagnostics, gene therapy and regenerative medicine etc. This course aims to help the students understand the basic principles of molecular biology, mainly in three aspects (1) How the genome is maintained in a cell? (2) How the genome is expressed in the form of RNAs and proteins? (3) How the expression of RNAs and proteins are regulated?

課程概述

近年來分子生物學蓬勃發展，這門科學主要探討從DNA到蛋白的基本機制及調控，藉之獲得新的蛋白質或得以了解特定基因的生物功能。由謝明麗，劉薏雯老師合開。
