教育目標

（一） 使學生簡單瞭解大衛•休謨(David Hume)之為宗教哲學家的生平與著作、思想背景與學說要旨。 （二） 透過對休謨原典An Enquiry concerning Human Understanding 中第十節 “Of Miracles”、第十一節 “Of a Particular Providence and of a Future State”以及Hume On Natural Religion中 “Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion By David Hume, ESQ” 選文的研讀，瞭解其自然宗教的思想：反超自然(anti-supernaturalism)、反人神同形論(anti-anthropomorphism)、反目的論與設計論證、反宇宙論證的懷疑自然主義立場。 透過對休謨宗教哲學原典的研讀，瞭解其學說對西方宗教哲學的影響與地位。
