教育目標
Its purpose is to increase the students knowledge of synthetic biology, both in theory and in practice. The Synthetic Biology is required by the Tunghai team who will participate in the International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition, iGEM 2019. The course will cover the recombinant DNA technology, gene expression, DNA and protein characterization, lab operation, and other techniques involved in the competition. Students will also learn proper laboratory regulations and safety procedures. Lastly, students will be trained for developing critical thinking skills in regards to troubleshooting and designing experiments.
