旅館業概論課程主要在介紹飯店產業歷史、類型、介紹各部門的工作,服務的基本態度理念以及飯店產業的競爭策略,學生可以了解飯店各部門如何分工運作,作為將來職涯發展的參考。

To describe how the lodging industry has developed over its long history To explain how individual hotel properties in the lodging industry are classified To draw an organizational chart of hotel divisions and identify the executive committee members.
 To describe the main functions of each operational and administration divisions/ departments. To explain how the lodging industry measures its success To describe how the lodging industry is related to the larger hospitality and travel and tourism industries
