教育目標

By the end of this course, students should be able to 1) conduct research independently on a topic, 2) write a research paper presenting their research and argument following current academic standards of presentation, and 3) properly cite their sources of information and avoid plagiarism.

課程概述

Research Methods is a second-year required course. By the end of this course, students should be able to 1）　conduct research independently on a topic, 2） write a research paper presenting their research and argument following current academic standards of presentation, and 3） properly cite their sources of information and avoid plagiarism. In the first semester, students learn the basic skills and principles that they will need to carry out research. In the second semester, students learn how to develop their own research topic and argument and how to use the skills and principles from the first semester to do their own research and write a research paper.
