教育目標

本課程以接觸生活中各種有趣的議題,並就其進行不同層次的語言學習活動,使學生在互動中習得語言學習策略。 On the completion of the course, students should be able to: A) display their knowledge of the English language and the ability to use English in a meaningful way by conveying a message with appropriate content, grammar, structure, vocabulary, fluency, and pronunciation for each oral assignment. B) display their ability to effectively communicate in English by actively participating in classroom and group discussions with coherent responses that use relevant vocabulary and expressions provided by the teacher. C) display their comprehension of written English texts by correctly answering questions, which are designed to measure basic reading skills such as skimming, scanning, reading for main idea, inferencing, and guessing vocabulary in context.
