The goal of this course is to introduce basic network programming concepts and practices to students. The concepts includes TCP/IP, Socket, Web, RMI, P2P, and so on. To have more solid recognition of each concept, there will be several sample codes explained in detail in the course. In addition, there will be exerciese for each concept. Students will be requested to turn in homeworks and lab studies every week. After this course, students will have the basic capability of writing network-related application programs.

In this course, we will focus on how to use Java technology to implement web applications. After this semester, students should know http protocol, JSP, Servlet, EJB and J2EE related solutions.
