The purpose of this course lies in
1. Increasing students’ ability in combining vocabulary words, phrases, and grammatical knowledge to meaningful sentences,
2. Helping students develop paragraph writing on the basis of their ability in their sentence writing.
3. Enabling students to identify good sentences from bad sentences, and
4. Providing students with good pieces of English writing
課程概述
This course is designed to assist students write up a complete project, which is to undertake a charity event concerning issues raised in the class. The 1st half of the semester, we immerse ourselves in reading diverse topics regarding our daily lives and businesses; the 2nd half of the class, we put our project in actions: creating a charity event, designing propaganda, finding sponsors, and carrying out the event.
