Class discussion and practice	20
Online discussion and reflection	20	Online interactive discussion and self-reflection will be reviewed by the instructor on odd weeks.
Field trip report	20	Field trips include 4 hours of classroom observation and 4 hours of teaching practice. Students must write a 2-page report on each observation tour/teaching practice.
Midterm demo	20	Students will take turns to have a 15-minute practice before the class.
Final demo	20	Students will video-tape one of their teaching practices at a nearby junior high school (or an elementary school).

(1) To familiarize students with TEFL materials and methods suitable for teaching English to high school students (2) To train students to apply strategies, techniques, and activities to instructional practice

透過對英語教材與教學法之介紹與訓練，培養學生熟悉中等學校英語教材之內容，以及增進學生如何運用適當英語教學法於課室教學中之能力，從而培育優秀之英語師資。
