This course is a literary study of classical juvenile novels in English and English translation. We will study the novels through close textual reading and analysis. Critical methods and theories such as New Criticism, Russian Formalism, Structuralism, Myth and Folklore studies, Anthropology, Psychology, etc., will be applied to the study.
