教育目標

藉著對聖經地理、歷史背景的探討與考古學的發現，深入了解舊約聖經的內容。

課程概述

本課目由介紹聖經舊新約的源流，內容與形式，經卷神學主題，進入聖經舊約的智慧傳統、先知信息，詩篇個人抒哀頌讚之宗教省思，聖經生死觀，智愚論，與福音書的神國比喻等文學形式，每一課目必提出新舊約文學特性、神學題旨，及其與生命教育相關的現代意義。 本課程深耕新舊約聖經敬虔省思，信望愛的智訓，歷史行蹟，故事傳略，使學員熟諳經文的形式與內容，解經釋義上必要的字義句解，上下文結構，歷史背景資訊，對認識上主的歷史作為，天道神旨，大有助益的神學教訓。於今彎曲悖謬的世代中，人們將聖經文篇所誌之語言事蹟，應用於操練情志，提升靈性，珍愛生命，必能立己、益世。 Content of the Course: An introduction to the form and meaning of the Bible, the class emphasizes the theological teaching drawn from Bible stories, prophetic message, personal devotional reflections in psalmists’ praise and lamentation, the wise and the fool in the Israelite wisdom tradition, and the rhetorical features of the Parables of the Kingdom of God in the Gospels, so that students fittingly apply the teaching of the Biblical literature to the much-needed life education.
