教育目標

The main objectives of this course are: (1) to understand the roles of information systems in businesses and how the enterprise achieve competitive advantage with information systems, (2) to familiarize students with the concept of enterprise resource planning and how ERP systems make the enterprise much efficient, (3) to understand the state of the art in IT infrastructure, including issues of software/hardware, network, database, security, ethics, etc. and (4) to familiarize students with the skills of project management and software acquisition.

課程概述

資訊科技發展迄今已為企業經營與運作不可或缺的一環，企業資訊科技的應用已涵蓋組織不同層級、不同部門、以及對外部供應商、合作夥伴、下游客戶等進行整合。欲了解、分析、甚至發展資訊科技在企業組織中可能的應用，學生除對資管實務有初步認識外，還必須熟悉企業內部各項作業流程。本課程涵蓋企業的作業與資訊管理的雙主軸，主要內容包含下列主題：資訊科技對組織的衝擊及新興企業經營模式、企業使用那些類別的資訊系統、企業資源規劃與流程導向的資訊系統、資訊科技基礎建設與安全性議題、資訊管理的策略性議題、專案管理與軟體取得等。課程除透過老師講授的內容外，將輔以個案討論與實務專題演講的方式，以達成理論與實務結合之目的。
