教育目標

As a result of this course, students will : - Have a perception of the basic issues related with TCP/IP protocol suite and Internet operational mechanisms. - Have a basic concept on the wireless network, including IEEE 802.11 Standard and relevant essential operati9nal principles on wireless networks. - Have an in-depth understanding of techniques for analyzing the various frames on the Internet , especially the possible attacking methods from the malicious hackers. - Have a fundamental perception on the Ad hoc networks and the international standard documents: RFC 3561 as well - Gain practice and competence in reading, analyzing research papers.

主要內容 (Outlines)： - 網際網絡 TCP/IP協定集概述 - Frame descriptions on (1) Data Link Layer (2) IP Layer (3) ICMP Layer (4) TCP/UDP Layer- Operational Principles of Related Routing Mechanisms and Transport -Layer Functions - Header Format Descriptions on Wireless Networks：包含封包解析：IEEE 802.11 Frames Analysis - 無線網路運作原理 - Infra-structure and Ad hoc networks, wireless Sensor Networks are also included. - 技術刊物、專業文獻研讀 - 專題製作 (option)
