This course covers
1).Foundation materials for electric circuits, including
Ohm’s Law,
Series and parallel of resistors
Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law (KVL),
Kirchhoff’s Current Law (KCL),
Thévenin form and Norton form to represent signal source,
Impedance elements and concepts, including resistive, capacitive
and inductive elements,
Voltage divider’s rule and current divider’s rule
Large signal and small signal representation
Analog and digital signals,
And concepts of amplification
2). Studies of basic electronic devices, including
Operational Amplifiers
Diodes
Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors (MOSFET)
Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT)
3). Special topics, including
Digital Logic Circuits(implemented by diodes, BJTs, or FETs)

This is a comprehensive first course in electronic circuits. This course covers
1).Foundation materials for electric circuits, including
Ohm’s Law,
Series and parallel of resistors
Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law (KVL),
Kirchhoff’s Current Law (KCL),
